After being impaled by a branch during the Texas A&M field storm, I was immobilized but determined to make an impact. Through tough conversations and preparation, I set up in our gameday office with one goal: contribute as much as possible to the team’s success.
I worked throughout the game, hobbling between shooters to collect their cards and ingest footage. As the pace of play increased, so did my edits, shaping the video to reflect the energy and intensity of the game. During slower moments, I fine tuned clips to give each moment a little extra life.
After a long night of editing, I finished a video I was immensely proud of. It went on to chart 238K views and 19K likes, becoming one of the highest performing pieces of content from South Carolina’s first Mayors Cup victory since 2018.
